Becoming a Nonprofit Board Member Training

Leadership Oakland has prepared three one-hour sessions with local experts to help you better understand Board Member Basics, Fundraising as a Board Member and how to Support and Strengthen The Board once you join.  As a cohort, you will have the opportunity to connect with other likeminded people who are also looking to actively engage in their community by dedicating their time, talent and treasurer as a member of a nonprofit board.  Each session will consist of a one-hour, interactive session on Zoom and we ask that when registering to plan on attending all three sessions.  At the conclusion of the three sessions, you will be better equipped to understand and execute in your role as a member of a nonprofit board.
